White, so very white
These wrinkled hands
Floating quietly on the surface
White dove's wings.
The afternoon sky is ablaze
And yet all I see is grey
Funny how life goes on
When time has stopped for them.
Cruel water, cruel sea
Washed away their lives
Bloated bodies white and grey
Forever silent, forever still.
