Ode to the Unknown

The foudroyant rain comes
Sifting down. Claiming
Dominion over the gloomy world.

Already the liquor stank of
Stale mulberries; in black shift
Convulses.

And there, lying in quietus
Away from absolution,
The fugitive colours die.
